You have plugged in your charger into your iPhone for a few hours but your iPhone doesn’t turn on. Why? There are various reasons why your iPhone is charging but won’t turn on. Here are the top five reasons why your iPhone won’t turn on.
iPhone needs a force restart
Your iPhone may simply be temporarily frozen and needs a manual reset or “force restart.” Follow the appropriate instructions to force restart your iPhone.
Dead battery
If your battery is completely drained of charge, your iPhone may not immediately turn on even when plugged into a power source. Connect your iPhone to a charger and let it charge for 30 minutes, and then try turning it on again. If this doesn’t work, you’ll need additional help. Bad logic board

Try replacing it and see if the display is still black.
